Mega Dystopia Micro Architect is reaching new heights today with its second update since launch. You may have noticed the rainy new illustration (shiny stuff is so yesterday...), but this is not the only change. You can find the full list of changes for version 1.2.0 below.

Catalog release

This is a significant milestone for the game, expanding MDMA's reach to a broader audience while also unlocking a long-awaited feature that we'll discuss shortly. It's worth mentioning that the game, including its feature updates, will still be available for purchase on Itch, as some people may prefer having a DRM-free copy.

Highscores

We all knew that you are a great architect, but now it's much easier to objectively measure how good (or, at times, fortunate) you really are! The list of the best architects can be accessed through the system menu.

This feature works only on the Catalog version of the game.

Upgrades

With the previously introduced reroll mechanics, you always started the game with 5 rerolls. This is no longer the case, as rerolls have been added to the list of permanent upgrades. Additionally, the upgrade cost for all upgrades has been lowered, and rerolling perks now costs 2 rerolls (instead of 1 upgrade token).

Bribes

I will try to simplify the problem here. After unlocking all the permanent upgrades, where do you spend the upgrade tokens you gain? It's easy - you push your luck and bribe the government for a better starting bonus; the more you 'donate', the more you get.
